What Jack Does Here

Before an article on LawyerEDU.org is published or updated, Jack checks it against the sources it relies on. That includes every statistic, every admission or licensing requirement, every school detail, and every date.

That means checking law school approval against the American Bar Association, bar admission rules against each state’s bar admission office, admissions details against the Law School Admission Council, bar exam details against the National Conference of Bar Examiners, and salary and job outlook figures against U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data. When something doesn’t match its source, it’s corrected before the article goes live.

Jack isn’t a lawyer, and he doesn’t give legal advice. His role is verification, not expert review: making sure what each article says matches the official sources behind it. Each article he has checked shows his name near the top of the page.

How We Check Our Work

Fact-checking on this site is done by people on our editorial team, never by an AI tool. Our editorial standards explain where our facts come from, how we use AI, and how we handle corrections, and you can meet the rest of the people behind the site on our About page.

If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, use the corrections contact on our editorial standards page and tell us the page and what needs fixing.
