- Have an associate or bachelor degree in any field from an institutionally accredited program plus either:
- Two years of legal work experience, OR
- Complete semester hours of legal specialty courses required by ABA guidelines
- Graduate from a non-ABA-approved paralegal program that is institutionally accredited and meets ABA approval guidelines
